After watching the lightning while kayaking we trekked out towards the coast and a dramatic sky for the last leg, a 11km trek back to Crescent Head.

| I ran up to a high point for a quick scan of the area and spotted the checkpoint directly in line with the bearing the Cowgirls were on. |
