Night Rogaine

      After a long ride we arrived at the Rogaine TA at 7pm, we knew that it was going to be tricky as none of the Geofull teams had gotten back into the TA yet and we set out with some trepidation, trying to work out if we could avoid doing any creek junction CPs. We got CP T without much difficulty once we worked out that the tracks weren't exactly as marked on the map. P was our next CP and we met Team Mountain Designs, who ended up placing 4th in the Geo Full, on their way back to the TA which buoyed our spirits, it's always great to see teams we know doing well.

We took the big climb up to Q and landed right on the CP, Jan spot on with the Nav as usual.

After Q we went for V and after one false start we got ourselves into the creek and going the right direction,managing to get V and keep Ginas foot dry at the same time. We met Cyclezone Mooloolaba heading back to the TA at this point and had a quick chat to Paddy, they were in high spirits but hoping they would have enough water, they ended up placing 5th in the Geo Full. 

We we arrived back at the TA there were bikes and pack rafting gear everywhere - we were keen to get on our bikes and get to our support crew at the next TA but we knew we had some big hills to climb.
